The individual Circoli, legally recognized as a Cultural Association, take the name of the City or of the Province in which they operate.
In the presence of three or more Circoli in a Region it is possible to found a regional co-ordination association that will take the name of 'Società of Danza and the name of the Region'.
The Circle can exist only in the presence of a teacher of the Federation or of a student of the Teacher Training Seminar, regularly enrolled in the register of Teachers, as a guarantor of respect for the ideas and the practice of Società di Danza .
Circoli operate in the territory of relevance. The Municipality and the Province are considered to be the territory of relevance, if there are no other Circoli registered and operating in the same Province. They can act on different territory only after agreement with the Federation. Failure to comply with this point can be considered a reason for expulsion from the register for the teacher and from the Federation for the Circolo.
Circoli should not conflict or generate competition of any kind between them.
Problems generated in the interaction between Circoli will be addressed and resolved by the Board of Directors, also through a review of the rules of the Regulations, if this is not exhaustive or unclear on the subject.
Failure to comply with the decisions of the Board of Directors in matters of dispute between clubs involve expulsion from the register for the teacher and from the Federation for the Circolo.
At Società di Danza can join, but not federate, groups and associations that do not yet have a teacher enrolled in the register and are not constituted in the Association 'Società di Danza'. The aforementioned groups will be called the Affiliate Group.
Membership
Each club or group must promptly send to the Secretary of the Federation the complete registration form for each member. This will guarantee to the Federation to be able to send information of general interest to all national partners.
One can participate in local and national activities only if in compliance with the registration and the relative insurance.
The Federation provides for the stipulation of the national insurance contract
The seminar takes place on a monthly basis. The rules for participation and operation of the Teacher Training Seminar are set in a special Regulations, drawn up by the Board of Directors.
The status of the Teachers is certified by a special Register of Teachers of Società di Danza, drafted and updated by the Board of Directors.
National and International Stages.
Purpose of the stage is to improve members and teachers. Stages and schools must also be a moment of meeting and knowledge of members coming from different cities; and nations. The national and international stages are directed by the President of the Federation.
It is a task of teachers to promote participation in stages and schools in their Circolo.
Grand Ball
The Grand Balli are the final moment of an educational cycle in which the members put into practice the learning of their study. At the Grand Balls there is an extreme care of all the components: the choice of the place of historical and architectural value, the 19th-Century dress, the music, the rules of behavior, the technique of execution of the dances and the overall choreography. Grand Balls can be local, organized by the Circolo active in the territory of relevance, or national, organized by the Federation. The Circoli, in the organization of the Grand Balls, tend to coordinate with the activities; of the Federation and with the other Circoli.
Party and Tea Dance
These are informal moments in which the pleasures of conviviality are combined with the art of social dance. These are fundamental elements of the associative logic of Società di Danza.
Performance
The performance can be of different types and commitments. They can be real performances aimed at enhancing the beauty of the dances of society in 19th Century or simple animations aimed at promote the knownledge and appreciation to an inexperienced public of the characteristics of the social dances.
The organization and management of these activities imply a clear awarness of the finalities; and the goals that one wants to achieve.
In no case should they damage the image of Società di Danza as a Cultural Association of national and international relevance.
The performance must never interfere with the teaching activity of the Circoli.
The performance produced outside their own territory must be agreed with the Federation.
Integration
From September 2016, groups wishing to join the Federation will need to have a person in charge of the group who attends the Teacher Training Seminar, ensuring Teaching quality and compliance with the Federation Rules. Derogations are not allowed.
